TEIGNMOUTH'S popular heritage trail is expanding, thanks to a £20,700 grant.

The money has come from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Gib Gill from the Teignmouth Jubilee Heritage Trail said they were 'absolutely delighted.'

'It has taken a lot of time and hard work to satisfy all the criteria to obtain the grant, but the successful final outcome has made it all worthwhile.'

The existing trail was set up in 2006, with six information boards – full of interesting historical facts – at five locations around the town.
