A COMPUTER whizzkid from Shaldon has shared a technical Hollywood Oscar.
Tom Reed, 32, is the global head of rigging at a computer film company, which picked up the academy award for the visual effects on Life of Pi. The movie also won two other Oscars.
'It was a great honour for us. A large team of people work on such projects, so it is very much a team affair,' he told the Post.
