Teignmouth's police neighbourhood team has been praised by former mayor Cllr David Cox.

In one of his last duties as mayor, he presented it with a commendation for its work in the town.

'Over the years we have seen the significant difference the neighbourhood team have made, with dedicated officers working in close contact with the community and partners,' he said.
