TRUSTEES of Kingsteignton Youth Centre hope it could reopen in the new year.

However, while a financial settlement between the trust and Devon County Council, which withdrew its provision of youth services at the Broadway Road centre in September, has been agreed, the official termination agreement of the contract is still to be signed.

In the meantime, the trustees, who are all the town councillors, are checking an inventory of the building's contents and evaluating the state of the building before the final signing of the termination.
