THE minor injuries unit at Teignmouth Hospital looks likely to be closed.

Plans are being drawn up to transfer the facility to Dawlish Hospital, which health bosses maintain would provide a much improved service.

Currently both units are open only for a few hours a week, often sporadically, and parking and traffic congestion around Teignmouth Hospital can be severe.
