AN application to convert part of an agricultural building into a hotel has been submitted to planners.

25/01421/PN is seeking permission to change the use of part of an existing building at The Buntings off Higher Woodway Road to Class C1 (hotel).

The building forms part of an established agricultural unit and has been in sole agricultural use since July 2023.

Conversion works will be internal only, preserving the existing structural shell, the application form reads.

No demolition or rebuilding is proposed beyond what is necessary for the conversion, the form adds.

The application was validated by Teignbridge District Council on August 26, with a decision expected on or before September 23.
