A VIKING ship docked in Ipplepen graveyard on Saturday night. Crocodiles, penguins, sharks and polar bears too, were just a few of the animals seen following the vessel through the village.

But the ship and the fleet of beasts were harmless and in the shape of bright lanterns which illuminated the village in a striking cavalcade, as shown in these colourful photographs sent in by reader Barry Quick.
