MOST of Shaldon seemed to take part in or turned out to watch the three-legged fancy dress jaunt around the licensed hostelries.

The freezing boxing Day conditions did not cool the enthusiasm for this popular annual feast of laughs and spectacle and more than 250 entrants braved the weather.

Spectators were entertained with some ingenious costumes, depicting topical themes and variations, including some skimpy outfits that must have induced a lot of goose pimples.
