BRIGHT sunshine greeted the first day of the Devon County Show this morning (Thursday May 18th).

Visitors flocked to the Westpoint showground in their droves for the start of the 122nd show with many arriving early and staying late.

This year Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex is the Devon County Agricultural Association President and she spent most of the day touring the showground extensively and meeting many of the exhibitors.

The show continues until Saturday
