Thanks to having a semi professional musician as a father and a dancer as a mother, Digby always knew he'd enjoy a career in music in some way or another.
'When I was young, my sister was always buying records by the likes of the Everly Brothers and Chuck Berry,' said Digby, from Birmingham.
'I remember when she bought the Beatles' first album I stood outside her bedroom listening to it and from that moment I knew I wanted music to be part of my life. I was smitten.'
After leaving education behind him in 1969, he set his heart on a getting a job in a recording studio.
