ILSINGTON man Kevin Carr is going to have to pull out all the stops if his bid to become the fastest man to run the globe is to succeed, writes Nigel Canham.
The 33-year-old set off from Haytor in July 2013 and he has been on the road ever since.
Carrying everything he needs in a 'stroller' buggy, and finding shelter where he can, he has so far covered more than 14,000 miles, an average of 25 miles each day.
But with more than 2,000 miles still to go in just 50 days he will need to up the daily rate to more like 41 miles.
