TEIGNMOUTH rugby players who took on a 10-mile run have raised almost £1,300 for charity. Clarke Orchard, Ian Coombes and Christian Robertson ran from Powderham Castle to Teignmouth Pier dressed as Elvis Presley in aid of Children's Hospice South West and Natalie McColl's Tae Kwon Do World Championship fund. The majority of the cash will be presented to Fiona Davey, who has been fundraising for Children's Hospice South West. Mr Orchard said: 'Thanks to all the kind motorists who supported us on the day of the run, all those who kindly supported us and in particular Dave and Darrell for co-ordinating the run and providing many needed water stops on such a hot day.'
