This week sees the 200th anniversary of the United Reformed Church in Kingsteignton, and there will be an exhibition depicting its history and links with the town in the URC Hall today, tomorrow and Sunday between 10.30am and 4pm.

The church had a humble beginning in 1816 as an unpretentious thatched building erected on the site of the current church. This was replaced in 1866 by the building we see now.
