Abbotskerswell runner Kirsty Chrysanthou has returned to the village after completing the New York Marathon to raise money for charity.

The 28-year-old completed the 26.219 mile trek in 4hrs 30mins, half-an-hour longer than she hoped to take.

She embarked on the annual event to fundraise for Vasculitis UK, raising £850.
