Youngsters Dan Welch-Rowe, eight, and Viveka Mitchell, seven, prepared for the Royal wedding by playing with knitted dolls of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in the churchyard of St Michael's, Chagford.

The dolls, currently on display at Amy's Flowers, Chagford, will be raffled in aid of the St Michael's Church Flower Festival on Monday.

The characters were created by festival organisers.

They pulled out all the stops and knitted the whole Royal party, including the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, the Archbishop of Canterbury and a group of corgis.

The festival, which takes place from July 15-17, will celebrate the 750th anniversary of the dedication of Chagford church by Bishop Branscombe in 1261.
