A FORMER Chudleigh woman is taking on the trek of a lifetime – Kilimanjaro – in February to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Lara Hughes, who lives in Earlsfield, London, and works for Barclays Bank in the city, has a particular reason for supporting the charity – prostate cancer claimed the life of her grandfather Rod Hughes, but last year her dad was successfully treated for it.
The 32-year-old, whose parents live in Chudleigh, has set herself a target of raising £4,000.
