THERE are just two weeks left for gardeners to enter this year’s Dawlish In Bloom competition.

The ‘virtual’ event will be judged on digital photos of gardens, window boxes, containers and wildlife gardens.

The competition is open to front and back gardens, hanging baskets or pots, community centres, holiday accommodation or wildlife and biodiversity gardens.

The closing date to enter is Sunday July 16.

The competition is being run by Dawlish Town Council and Dawlish Garden Society.

Founded in 1860, the Garden Society has continued to support gardeners throughout the decades.

Entrants are asked to submit a maximum of two photos of their ‘brilliant blooms’.

Entry forms are available from the Dawlish Town Council website at www.dawlish.gov.uk and there are more details about the categories.

Forms and an email with the photos as jpeg files should be sent to

[email protected] (jpeg files) and the entries will be judged via digital photo.

Photo entries for Dawlish In Bloom 2023 must have been taken in 2023.

The judges for Dawlish in Bloom reserve the right to view potential winning garden entries.
