Sponsors and supporters of Craft Festival gathered at MAKE Southwest earlier this week to celebrate the lasting local partnerships that help enable this not-for-profit event to be hosted in Bovey Tracey each June. Over 10,000 people attended last year.

Craft Festival Bovey Tracey’s 21st anniversary show will take place in just over a week’s time running from June 6 to 8 at Mill Marsh Park in the town.

“I’m thrilled and greatly appreciate the long-term support of the Town Council, local and national arts organisations, and many local businesses that make Craft Festival happen each year” said Sarah James MBE, co-founder and director of Craft Festival. “Together our partnership has created an award-winning, national event for the best of British crafts right here in Bovey.”

“We love to welcome the local community to Craft Festival alongside the many people who travel from across the UK to join us. We want to see the whole town buzzing as visitors stay locally, enjoy local shopping, and the warmth of hospitality in our pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Come along to Craft Festival and take time to explore the wealth of attractive, local independent shops in Bovey Tracey” she added.

To coincide with Craft Festival, three local shopping events will take place. The Great Big Green Week window competition launches at shops along Fore Street, local business will be open for late night shopping on Friday June 6th between 5-7:30pm, plus the Bovey Tracey Creativity Trail through town will offer locals and visitors the opportunity to explore and enjoy an in-person or take away craft activity all to support the free workshops at Craft Festival’s Craft Lab.

Tickets to Craft Festival are available at www.craftfestival.co.uk and cost from £10 (£9 for concessions). Children under 18 years enter free with an adult ticket holder. Or buy tickets online to save on the entrance gate price and avoid the queues.
