RELATIVES of residents in an under-threat Devon County Council-run care home in Bovey Tracey are considering taking legal action if the authority decides to close it.Tracey Vale care home is one of a number in the county which could shut as the county council looks to make massive financial savings.A consultation process is currently under way as the county is proposing to end its provision of residential care services at its home and arrange to buy alternative care in the private sector.But relatives of residents at Tracey Vale are furious at the plans.Sylvia Vosloo, whose 91-year-old mother Betty Morgan is among the 35 residents, says a meeting with officers from Devon County Council was a 'whitewash' and suspects the authority wants to sell the site for development.
