The Liberal Democrats have retained all three seats in the Buckland and Milber ward. Cllrs Gordon Hook and David Corney-Walker return to chamber with 1,297 votes and 823. They are joined by Cllr Colin Parker who fought the seat after Robert Leeper stepped down to fight the Bushell Ward. Cllr Parker took 1,006 votes. There were eight candidates in all with Independent Mike Ryan coming fourth with 688 votes. Conservative John Gadie took 649, fellow Tories Anna Shantry and Lauren Wilson 537 and 520. Green Party candidate took 310 votes. The turnout was 43.3 per cent.
