FLOOD damage has forced a Teignbridge library to close until further notice.

Moretonhampstead Library has been closed since March 31, following a spell of heavy rain.

A spokesman for Moretonhampstead Library said: 'We will extend book loans during this period of unplanned closure.

'We apologise for any inconvenience and will keep you updated.

'Customers are encouraged to use online services to reserve, renew and browse at devonlibraries.org.uk or visit the nearest libraries at Chagford, Bovey Tracey, Okehampton and Exeter.

'We hope to see all our customers again very soon.'
