ASHBURTON'S main youth group charity has been given a £100,000 vote of confidence to carry on its good work with youngsters in the community.
Staff at the Bank Youth Project are cock-a-hoop after hearing that the Big Lottery Fund's financial lifeline will keep the group going for another five years, relatively free from money worries.
Former town mayor Cllr Peter Brewer, and the project's chairman of trustees, announced: 'This is tremendous news for BYP and for local people.'
