THIS Christmas promises to be the best yet for Lisa Weston, from Chudleigh, after coming through a traumatic year to beat cancer.

Lisa's world nose-dived into pain, anguish and nightmarish uncertainty when she was told on the stroke of 11am on Remembrance Day 2011 that she had breast cancer.

Her minute's silence was deafening when the devastating news was broken to her at Torbay Hospital.

But her resilience and the love and support of her partner Sarah and children Teagan and Otis together with the wealth of kindness from friends, family and strangers has pulled her through to make her determined to celebrate the merriest Christmas and happiest new year of her life.
