A FESTIVAL celebrating the works of young people is back this November.

MED Theatre, a developmental community theatre organisaiton based on Dartmoor, is overjoyed to announce the return of ‘Dartfest’ - a Dartmoor-inspired festival aimed at showcasing the creativity of young people.

This year it is the theatre’s ‘Wild Nights Young Company’, a young people’s company for 12 to 19 years old, who are to showcase their work.

The catalyst that began the creative process was Dartmoor itself with members of the company braving the elements so to spark the imagination.

A myriad of marvelling performances await attendees: poetry, expressionistic movement, short plays and even explorations of mime.

The event will take place over two days in Moretonhampstead Parish Hall on Saturday Novmember 20 at 7:30pm and Sunday November 21 at 11am. Tickets are available via the MED Theatre website: www.medtheatre.co.uk
