Cllr Vic Elliott, the 87-year-old Ipplepen farmer and oldest serving district councillor, has died.

Since the accident, Cllr Elliott had been treated at Torbay Hospital but his injuries were severe and he died on Saturday.
He had served on the parish council for more than half a century and the district authority for 19 years.
A committed Conservative, his contributions in the chamber were often pithy, humorous and barked out in rich Devon tones.
