A MOTORCYCLIST who suffered multiple injuries in a road accident in Kingskerswell remains in hospital at Torquay.

The 51-year-old rider from Newton Abbot suffered potentially-life changing injuries in the collision with a van near the Texaco service station on the A380.

He was placed on a spinal board by paramedics having received injuries to his back, arms, legs and chest.

The accident between his Yamaha YZF machine and a Transit van happened just after 1pm on Wednesday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They should ring 101 and quote log 342 of March 25.
