IN a drugs bust in Buckfastleigh, police seized a large quantity of cannabis resin. The class C drug was discovered in a house in Gypsy Lane, on Tuesday, when Ashburton-based police officers executed a search warrant issued under the Misuse of Drugs Act. As well as the cannabis a smaller amount of herbal cannabis and drug paraphernalia was found. Also seized was a machete, a decorative dagger and a small lock knife. A police spokesman said a 47-year-old man was arrested for possession with intent to supply and was later bailed to return to police custody on April 10.
