Hi, my name’s Purdy and I want to spend Christmas with a family. No gifts – just a loving gang of good guys to share joy with over the festive season and beyond.

I’ve been cared for by Animals in Distress at their base in Ipplepen since the summer of 2015 – but now I really do fancy a change of scene.

I would really appreciate being the only pet in the household where my new pals will look kindly on my special needs.

A skin condition means I need a special diet and regular injections from a vet.

It’s this commitment which probably puts the kibosh on me being given my passport to a new life and the chance of having Christmas ‘at home.’

I get on better with older children – and I love attention and cuddles.

Staff at Animals in Distress keep telling me I’m a lovely girl. I just wish someone else thought the same way.
