A ROUTINE foot patrol in Bovey Tracey saw a man arrested and cannabis seized.
Officers from the Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing Team detained the man in Mill Marsh Park for the purpose of a stop-and-search.
A quantity of cannabis and scales were found the man was subsequently arrested.
A Section 18 search of the man’s home address was then carried out.
The foot patrol was a part of Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing Team’s ‘proactive work by local officers to tackle the supply of drugs in the area’.
