MAGISTRATES have banned a man for drink driving for 17 months.

John Leonard, 73, of Fisher Road, Newton Abbot, pleaded guilty to the offence on April 12 2022 in Station Road, Newton Abbot while having 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath.

He was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £34.

He was further fined £40 for driving on April 12 2022 with an expired licence.

He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
