A MAN has denied he was using a phone while he was driving in Newton Abbot.

Aziz Chakori, aged 43, of Raleigh Close, Chelston, pleaded not guilty to the charge of using the phone while driving in a Skoda in St Marychurch Road.

The case was adjourned until June 9 for an Arabic interpreter for the trial.
