A MAN suffered multiple injuries in a 10ft fall from a ladder at his home in Ashburton today (thurs Sept 18).

Paramedics were called to a property in Mill Meadow this morning.

The casualty, who has not been named, suffered possible leg and arm fractures in the tumble at 10.30am.

An ambulance spokesman said the patient was taken to Torbay Hospital Accident and Emergency department for treatment.

He was said to be 'conscious and breathing' at rthe scene when an ambulance crew arrived to treat him.
