BRITAIN'S NHS should not fall into the trap of becoming a two-tier health service which looks after the rich and poor on different levels, Ashburton's former mayor has warned.

Cllr Elaine Baker voiced her concerns as she briefed fellow town councillors on a seminar she attended hosted by the newly-formed South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group, which is influential in securing the future of closure-threatened Ashburton and Buckfastleigh Hospital.
