CUSTOMERS using the O2 network could be suffering from lack of signal and internet in Newton Abbot. The mobile providers are working on a mast in the area which may be causing some customers to have difficulties making calls, sending texts, emails and using the internet. A company spokesman said: ‘You may be experiencing intermittent service on your mobile while our engineers “do their thing”. ‘We are sorry about that but we will do our best to minimise any impact to your signal.’ One O2 customer said: ‘The whole situation is very frustrating. ‘I need to be able to use my phone to make calls and emails as part of my job.’
