Paintings and mosaics created by children at two workshops during half term were unveiled at Barn Play Park, Buckfastleigh, on Saturday. The theme of the display, featured on a wall, is Dartmoor and depicts ponies, trees, a rainbow, flowers and butterflies. Joe Lugg and Nik Pickavant, from Gibbs and Lugg, who donated materials, were present at the unveiling. British Ceramic Tiles Ltd donated tiles for the wall and the workshops were supervised by Lauren Ballard. 'The children were excited to see their work on the wall,' said Barbara Bray, chairman of Buckfastleigh Residents' Association. 'This will be an on going project as there is a lot of wall still showing so we will be holding more workshops later in the year.'
