A DARTMOOR-based charity set about restoring native woodland to the moor has launched a fundraiser to help it continue its work.
To conclude a year of celebrations for its 25th anniversary, Moor Trees is rounding out 2025 with an important fundraiser.
The charity's latest fundraiser, dubbed ‘Plant the Future’, is aiming to raise £25,000.
The monies will support Moor Trees’ activity to ‘ensure the essential next steps towards a wilder Dartmoor’.
And thanks to the Aviva Community Fund, every pound donated is match funded, or, in other words, every pound donated will be doubled.
Zoe Partridge, Fundraising Manager at Moor Trees, said: ‘Donations are really important to support our ongoing work and this Crowdfunder highlights how much we are able to achieve with the help and support of our volunteers.
‘As a charity it is really important that we have the backing of the local community.
‘These funds will be used to help us provide more opportunities to be at the forefront of nature’s recovery on Dartmoor’.
