A MOPED rider suffered a leg injury when her machine was in collision with a car in Newton Abbot at the weekend.

The 33-year-old casualty, from the town, was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital.

The accident happened in Baker’s Hill, near the police station, at 9pm on Saturday.

The motorist involved, also from Newton Abbot, escaped unhurt.
