Newton Abbot MP Anne Marie Morris claimed 45p in expenses for a one-mile trip to attend a marathon event.

The Times newspaper ran a story last week about MPS’ expenses and Ms Morris was on the list with another MP who claimed 9p for a 300m journey.

We were unable to contact Ms Morris’ representatives for a comment at the time of going to press.
