The owner of a £7,000 scale model locomotive has said 'how depressing' it is that thieves would steal the beloved engine from his Heathfield business.The 7¼-inch gauge 0-4-2 tank, in GWR livery, was taken from Millmerran Research and Development Ltd, Wentworth Road, on Friday night.Rob Mann's 1996 red SAAB 9000, P476 ECF, was also stolen, as was a pressure washer and canvas tool bag although its contents were emptied out first.Mr Merran had partly built the working steam model himself before having it finished by specialists in Lincolnshire five years ago.
