TWO Teignmouth chefs are doing an almost full monty for the traditional Boxing Day dip.

Gavin Athanasiou (right) and Nick Gilpin, from the Riviera Cafe, will swap the heat of the kitchen for icy sea water – donned only in aprons and chef hats – to raise funds for the town's lifeboat.

'It's a major event on the Teignmouth calendar, and we want to be part of it.

'Hopefully our outfits will create a bit of attention, and I am sure a lot of other people will have just as crazy costumes,' said Gavin.
