PAST volunteers and supporters of Newton Abbot Community Transport are being invited to help celebrate its silver jubilee.

The charity has been providing transport services in the community since 1991 and bosses are organising a special celebration to mark the occasion.

Manager Kay Yendall explained: ‘Unfortunately we have lost contact with many of the volunteers who have supported us over the years so we are unable to reach them to invite them.

‘It would be lovely if our long lost volunteers, supporters and trustees could get in touch and join us for the celebrations.’

The event takes place today between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at St Paul’s Church Hall, Newton Abbot.
