newton Abbot Art group is set to exhibit their Autumn Art Show from Saturday, October 21 until October 27 in Teignmouth Arts Action Group’s newly rennovated gallery.

Over the past decade the group has been a regular exhibitor at TAAG’s Gallery in Northumberland Place.

Co-chairs Virginia Griem and Jan Newton, said: ‘The gallery’s closure for refurbishment in the autumn of 2019 meant the postponement of our Autumn Exhibition that year, so we are absolutely delighted that at long last we can return to this wonderful gallery and showcase what we have been up to since our last appearance in Teignmouth.

‘Our exhibition opens on Saturday 21st October until Friday 27th October and is open daily. Entry is free, and a wide range of paintings, ceramics, and woodart will be on show - figurative, abstract and everything in between.

‘Over 20 local artists, all members of Newton Abbot Art Group, will be exhibiting in this weeklong exhibition, and we very much look forward to being in the new look TAAG with its fantastic new facilities.’

Newton Abbot Art Group has a growing membership and hold two art sessions a week in Newton Abbot, both very well attended, plus has an active outdoor sketching group.

They also work closely with Newton’s Place and Newton Abbot Museum, where they currently have a display celebrating the Art Group’s 50th Anniversary.
