A new Care Direct outreach service is to start at Dawlish Hospital next month.
The service will be for people aged 60-plus, their relative and their carers.
Care Direct Devon, working with the county council, district councils, NHS agencies, department for work and pensions and the voluntary sector, is a free one-stop shop offering advice and information to people aged 60 and over, their relatives and carers on Freephone 0800 444000.
The service is broad, spanning pensions, benefits, care and support at home, and other matters.
If you wish to talk to a Care Direct adviser in person, go to reception at Dawlish Hospital on the first and third Mondays of the month between 10am and 2pm beginning on Monday, March 3.
