TRUSTEES running the new-look Kingsteignton youth club have named their new youth worker.

Michelle Whatty, who previously worked as a youth support worker at Kingsteignton youth centre and at Buckland youth club, has taken on the role of leader and centre manager.

She started work this week and has attended her first official meeting with the centre's management committee.

Now Ms Whatty, who has been a youth worker for five years, wants to hear from young people in the town and what they would like to see provided at the Broadway Road centre.
