A NEWTON Abbot man charged with assaulting four emergency workers has been remanded in custody.
Josh Kettle, aged 27, of Oak Place, Newton Abbot, has been charged in connection with an incident which took place in Newton Abbot on Sunday, police report on their Facebook page.
He has been charged with an assault causing grievous bodily harm and assault causing actual bodily harm and affray.
He is also charged with being in possession of a bladed article
Kettle has been remanded in custody and will appear at Newton Abbot Magistrates Court on March 9.
