A ROAD crash victim from Newton Abbot suffered serious head injuries in a collision in Torquay.

His Harley Davidson motorcycle was in collision with a Hyundai car near the resort’s bus station in Lymington Road on Monday afternoon.

He was taken to Torbay Hospital before being transferred by helicopter to Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital.

A police spokesman said the rider’s injuries were not thought to be life-changing. He also suffered a leg injury.

The driver of the Hyundai was treated by paramedics at the scene.
