A FALLEN tree completely blocked the busy Newton Abbot to Bovey Tracey road for almost two hours. The incident happened on Tuesday lunchtime when the large tree came down across the A382. Devon County Council was alerted at 12.50pm and highways engineers were sent to the scene near the turn to Heathfield Industrial Estate while police set up a road block. The tree was removed and the road clear by 2.30pm.
