THOSE who paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom were remembered at a ceremony in Newton Abbot on Tuesday.
The small service at the town’s war memorial was commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War on the day that 40 years the Argentinian forces occupying the islands surrendered to British forces.
