The parents of a Newton Abbot girl battling cancer have arranged a unique fundraising stunt.

Nick Holmes, father of six-year-old Olivia who was diagnosed with primitive neuroectodermal tumour Ewing's sarcoma to her spine in July 2009, will walk on hot coals this summer.

In Torquay, on June 30, under the instruction of firewalking Guinness world record holder Scott Bell, he will attempt the feat to provide funds for the Olivia Holmes Foundation.
