NEWTON Abbot’s Sandringham Park will be home to a community fun day next month with lots of activities for families to enjoy.
On Saturday the park will be home to stalls, a live stage and activities including a bouncy castle, and organisers are asking punters to bring a picnic along.
Steve Michaels, who is helping to arrange the day, said: ‘It is all beginning to come together very quickly.?We had a hugely successful day last year but the feedback was that people wanted to use the event to showcase what Buckland has to offer and bring back some of those traditional fun activities that have been lost from the more traditional fayre.’
Other activities include tug of war, welly wanging, children’s shows and family entertainment.
